Easby sailed this afternoon for Newcastle via Wellington. The s.s. Taranaki will sail for the northern ports to morrow morning. The 8.8. Bruce will sail for her usual trip to Lyttelton via Timaru to-morrow afternoon. The ship Lennox Castle, for San Francisco, was towed to sea this morning by the tug Geelong. The barque Cezarewitch was removed from the end of the Graving Dock to the pier by the Geelong this morning. The ship Christian M'Ausland, being all ready for sea, was removed from the railway pier and anchored in the stream. Messrs M'Meckaa, Blackwood and Co.’s s.s. Claud Hamilton arrived alongside the railway pier at 9 a.m. this morning. She left Port Phillip Heads at 6 p.m. on the sth; passed the Sisters at noon on the 6th; had fine easterly winds for four days, then fresh southerly winds to the Solanders, which were passed at 5 p. m, on the 10th; then eased her engines, and hove to off Dog Island light until 4 a.m. on the 11th, and went into the Bluff Discharged mails, cargo, and passengers, and left for Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. ; experienced light E.S.E. wind, with rain, to arrival at the Heads. We thank her purser, Mr John Crotly, for report and files. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, December 12.—The Phoebe sailed for the South at five o'clock last night.
