VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
The Waikari Rifles competed for choice of representatives this morning with good results. The weather was good, the day being the best for shooting daring the present season. M'Kenzie stands highest in the final competition, so far as it has gone, and Marshall is next with 92 —thus there is every probability of this company having two out of the five representatives Otago is allowed.
