There were three entries. From the stait Guy I awkes and Premier cut out the running lambourini being a long distance behind, but going easy. This position was kept tor three parts of the race, when Preniiei began cutting down Guy Fawkes and took the lead. Tambourini then began to gallop very strong, and soon overhauled the other two, took the lead from Premier, who appeared to have thoroughly beaten Guy I’awkes, and won easily hands'{down.
