M-llride, S2 ; Pro use, 82. Wellington -Scottish Volunteers—Turner, 83. Twenty-four Volunteers have qualified in compinies firing in the Auckland district. The chi-f scores were;-Hay, Hazett, and M‘Donald, each 90 ; Relly, 87 ; Skinner, 82 ; White, 82 ; Leigh, SO ; Llaresnape and Partington, 79. At Waiuku the firing was Captain liamiin, 91 ; Cantril, 80. The filing at Taranaki for representatives resulted as follows :-Oakey, 92; Curlis, 91 ; Barriball, 85; Lawrence, 83; Eliott, 82 ;R. Bayley, 82. Humphries, who was second aggregate at last year’s Colonial firing, did not lire.

The Nelson Aitillery Company fired for the choice of representatives, with the following result: —Band-sergeant Harding, 80 ; Captain Pitt, 75. The Wanganui Hifles have fired for choice of representatives, with the following result; —Churton, 96 ; Oollard, 92 ; Sommerville, 91. Five more scored over 80, the average b§ing 79.
