Wanganui, for Bluff, November 18. Wallabi, for Bluff, November 19. Waikato, for London, December 15. The brig Alexandra sailed this morning for Kaipara. The p.s. Comerang, after taking on board transhipments from the ship Calypso, sailed for Oamaru. The French warship Yire sailed last evening for Campbell s Island, where she will remain until after the transit of Venus, and then return to Port Chalmers. The Jessie, a handy centre-board ketch of 29 tons, built by Messrs Kerr and Co., of Hobart Town, and purchaser! by Messrs Beck and Lyders, of Waikouaiti, for the coastal trade, arrived this morning with a full cargo of wool and grain from Waikouaiti, which port she left yesterday. The schooner Kaituna, John Scott, master, for Oamaru, timber laden, has now been out fifty days from Havelock and thirty-five from Akaroa. It is supposed she became dismasted off Hanks Peninsula, and the Customs’ authorities request masters of vessels sailing north to keep a good look out. The Harbor Company’s s.s. Maori arrived at 8.45 last evening from her usual trip to Lyttelton and intermediate ports. She left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on the Bth, called at Timanx and Akaroa, and arrived at Lyttelton at 11.30 a.m. on the lltb ; remained there until 2.30 p.tn. on the 15th; arrived at Akiroa at 7.23 p.m., left an hour afterwards, and arrived at Tirnaru at 6.45 a.m. on the 16th; left at 10.30 a.m., and arrived as above; experienced fine weather.
