In all the above cases, arising from errors and yielding to the passion no tin ( should be lost to at once arrest p o > i« ease. DR- l. l. smith ha < devoted himself for twenty years in the Colony to the practice of this branch of his profes.ion while previously, in England, he was the pupil of, and practised with the celebrat d Dr, R, T. Culverwell, the only medical practitioner who ever exclusively adopted this as the sole branch of his profession. Dr L. L. Smith hereby informs the public that he is the only legally qualified medica’ man in this speciality of his profession ; that others advertising are unqualified, and that therefore, in pretending to be qualified are obtaining money under false pretences. Dr L, L. Smith also warns the publi* against the quackeries advertising. If thi taker of any of these advertised nostrum escape with his life, or his system be not thoroughly and irreparably undermined by them, he may look up himself as the most fortunate mortal Dr L. L. Smith has been applied to by sc many unfortunate broken-down young-old men, utterly crushed in spirit, ruined in body, and filched in pocket, that he deems it a duty to publish this to the world. Those men and women who have been the victims of unprincipled charlatans frequently seek that recovery which is often beyond D Smith’s control. When will the public un derstand that it is to their interest to consult a duly qualified medical man, who has made this his solo study, rather than apply to a number of ignorant impostors, who merely harp and prey upon their pockets anc health ? Dr L. L.“ Smith has always stated that to warn the public of these quicksands is his chief reason for advertising. In all cases of nervous debility, lowness of spirits, loss of power, pimples on the forebead, lassitude, inaptitude for business, im* potency, drainage from the system, and the various effects of errors of youth and bloodpoisoning from diseases previously contracted.
