The amount of revenue received at the Cus tom-house on *,ooda cleared for consumption this day was L 407 11s lOd. In fact so little variation has taken place that avc cannot alter quotations from last Aveek excepting in sugar. Yesterday Messrs M‘Landless, Hepburn, and Co. offered at auction the tugars ex Ardour, from the Mauritius. There was a fair attendance of buyers, but only a portion sold. Good Avhites fetched L 34 15s to LSS. and brewer's crystals, L 33 to L 34. Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn, and Co. today offered for sale, on behalf of Mr Kennedy, several sections in the township of Embury. Of the 116 sections submitted, seventy-six Avere sold at from the upset price (L2O) to Lsl. The balance will be open for private sale at the upset price for a feAv days. SHARE MARKET. Mr Hooper reports that the share market is dull this Aveek, few transactions having taken place. * Colonial Banks are Avithout change; National and Standard Insurance shares have declined in value, the former about Is, and the latter about the same rate. In mining shares I know of no transactions. Stocks generally arc without any change in price, excepting as above.
