(By Telegraph,] November 13. The races wore continued to-day, the weather beintr glorious, and the attendance largo. Handicap Hurdle Race, of 50 sovs., added to a sweepstakes of 3 so vs. Two miles; eight Mights of hurdles. Mr Hedge’s Theodore, 9st 111b - - - 1 Mr Lunn’s Alice Grey, 10st 71b - - - 2
Alice Grey lost several lengths at the start. Both horses jumped splendidly throughout, Alice Grey gaining gradually all the way round, and half way up the straight she was on level terms, hard ridden, hut Theodore was then let out, and won easily by two lengths. Tpa Christchurch Plate, of 150 sovs., added to a sweepstakes of 5 sovs. Previous winners to carry extra. Two miles, Hr Redwood’s Ngaro, 3 yrs, (Ist 81bs - - 1 Mr Nosworthy’s Traitor, 4 yrs. Sst 71bs - 2 Mr O’Brien’s Tarabouriui, aged, lOst lllhs - 3 Mr Walker’s Yatterina, aged, 10st 4!bs ; Mr Delamain’s Templeton, 4 yrs. Sst 91hs ; MiRedwood’s Wainui, 3 yrs, 7st Gibs ; Mr Campbell’s Sonnambula, 3 yrs, Gst Slbs ; and Mr Webb’s Ada Colt, 3 yrs, fist Blbs, were scratched. Betting : 5 to 4 on Traitor, 3 to 2 against Ngaro, 2 and 3 to 1 against Tambourini. Traitor made the running at allot pace, Tambonrini lying second for the first mile, when Ngaro commenced to go up, collared Traitor in the straight, and, after a magnificent race home, won by half a head. Tambourini was outpaced from the start, and was pulled up in the straight. Time, 3min. 47sec. Metropolitan Handicap of 100 sovs. Distance, 1A miles, Templeton - - 1 Tadmor Remnant 3 Another splendid race f eight started. Won by a neck. Time—2n.in 4Sscc,
