Tim steamers Samson, for Oamaru, and Beautiful Star, for Moeraki, sail this evening. The ship Lennox Castle commenced to discharge her cargo into the railway trucks this morning. . The barque Cesarewith, with a full cargo of timber from Port Esperance, was towed up alongside the new jetty yesterday afternoon, after a fine run of seven days. She left Port Esperance on the 2nd instant, at 10.30 a.m., and inade the Heads at 6 a.m, yesterday. , The N.Z. Co.’s s.s. Wellington arrived alongside the railway pier, from the North, at 12.30 to-day. She left Onehunga at 4.50 p.m. on the 4th, called at Taranfiki, Nelson, Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton, and arrived as above. Experienced variable winds from N. W. to S.
