MANTLESThis department is famed for Mantles, Jackets, Polonaises, and Capes. The bargains given season after season have created universal surprise. ON DERCLOTHING— On the merits of this department it may be truly said that they supply Chemises, Gowns, I etticoats, Drawers, Bodies, &c,, &c , at less pi ice than the materials could be procured at in Dunedin. WARNINGS THAT MAY BE HEEDED. PRINTS— The great evil of the day is Prints. Cambrics, Brilliants, and Piques, that do not wash. T his can be avoided by purchasing here, as they import only Hoyle’s, Crum’s, and Koenig’s Goods—warranted fast colors. These names are a sure guarantee that the colors are perfection. FLANNELS— Another growing evil in the trade is remedied in this department.
