Co.’s Wellington, with the San ■ Francisco mail, sailed for the Northern ports this afternoon. The s.s. Beautiful Star arrived from Timaru last evening, and steamed alongside the ship Christian M‘Ausland for transhipments. .The Harbor, Company’s s.s. Bruce arrived last evening from her northern trip. She left Port Chalmers on the ixth, called at Timaru, and . arrived ’at Lyttelton on the 20th ; discharged and took in cargo and left again at 3.45 p.m. on the 21st, arriving at Akaroa at 7.45 p.m..; left again at 10.50 p.m., and arrived at Timaru at 8 a.m., and discharged forty tons of eargOi and left at noon, and arrived at 9.30 p.m. TELEGRAMS. Wellington, October 22. —The Douglas, now being towed in by the Luna, has 465 immigrants. She has been out 111 days. It is supposed she'was outside the Heads some days ato, hut was blown back by the gale. ; 23rd. — The Douglas was towed in-late last night and p'acedia quarantine,.
