MAILS CLOSE. Per s.s. Wellington, on Friday, October 23, as under: — Northern Ports of New Zealand, America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, &c., via San Francisco, at 11.30 p.m. For issue of money orders and registration of letters at 10 a.m. Newspapers at 10 a. m. Late letters, with one additional single rate per letter, till 12 noon. . British and other Mails, via Suez, will be despatched from this office on the 28th inst. A mail will be despatched from this office for Martin’s Bay on the 26th inst. ARCH. BARR. Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Office, Dunedin, October 22, 1874.
