Stevenson and child, Miss Murphy, Miss Henning, Mrs Wright, four children, and servant, Messrs, Somerville, Black, Schofield, G. O. Driscoll, Stronach, Trestrail; and thirty-six in the steerage. Beautiful Star, for Oamaru, October 16. Bruce, for Lyttelton, October 16. Columbus, for London, October 30. Easby, for Newcastle, October 25. Otago, for Northern Ports, October 16. The s.b. Beautiful Star arrived early this morning from Oamaru and passed up to Dunedin. Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood, and Co.’s «.s. Otago arrived from Melbourne, via the Bluff, at 6.30 a.m. this morning. She left Melbourne at 3 p.m. on the Bth, and had a terrific gale on the 12th, during which ten, horses died out of forty-four which she had on board. She left the Bluff at 4 p.m. yesterday, and had a fresh easterly breeze and dirty w;eather until arrival. We thank Mr Heaton for report and files. The s.s. Tararua arrived alongside the Sandridge railway pier at '8 a.m. on the morning of the Bth, having encountered very bad weather the first part of her passage. It took her twenty-four hours to go from the Bluff to the Solander. The Government p.s. Luna, with the San Francisco mail, arrrived at 7 a,m. from the North. She left Auckland on the 9th, called at Taranaki, Wellington, and Lyttelton. She i6tt there at 10.30 sum., smd encouu*er.ed a heavy S.W. gale, apd anchored in .Little Akaroa Bay. At noon got under way, ajgain, when it took her three hours to steam five .miles, and on arriving at Akaroa she remained with three anchors down until 8 a.m, yesterday. She had a heavy sea until arrival at the Heads at 1 a.m. this morning. We are obliged to hold over our report of the passage of the ship Invercargill.

SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.

Wellington, October 15.—The schooner Manmon, with timber, arrived from Dunedin yesterday. _Westport, October 16.-The Alma, from Melbourne for Greymouth, is now in the roadstead with her foremast gone.
