The schooner Jessie Henderson, from Auckland, sailed up to Dunedin yesterday afternoon.

The barque Woodville, having received some slight repairs, was taken out of Murray’s floating dock last evening. The ship Mairi Bhan,which has been detained for the want of a crew, has at last succeeded in getting one, and will sail this evenLr.: ?oj San Francisco.

The p.s. Comerang, having received a thorough overhaul and been re-coppered, was taken out of the Graving Dock last evening, and the s.s. Easby will be taken in on Saturday. The barque Glencoe, which has also been waiting at the lower anchorage for the weather to^moderate, got under way this morning and sailed out. She proceeds to Hobart Town. # The ship Hindostan, which has been lying inside the Heads for the last three days, took advantage of the S.W. wind this morning and sailed out, her destination being San Francisco.

The N.E. gale having moderated, the steamers Maori (for Camara) and Beautiful Star (for Lyttelton via Timaru), which had been weather bound, got under way this morning and sailed for their destinations. The Lady of the Lake also sailed for the Molyneux. The N.Z.S.S. Co.’s s.s. Wellington arrived alongside the railway pier at 10.30 this morning from the North. She brings a large number of the saloon passengers, and also the Port Chalmers portion of the San Francisco mail, left behind at Wellington by the s.s. Pheebe. The Wellington left Onehunga at 3.30 p.m. on the 19th ; anived at Taranaki at 8 a.m. on the 20th; after staying two hours proceeded to Nalson, where she arrived at 2 a.m. on the 21st; left again at 2.30 p.to., and arrived at Picton at 11 p.m. • left again at 1 a,m. on the 22nd, and arrived at Wellington at 7 a.m. ; left again at 4 p.m., and arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on the 23rd; left again for Port Chalmers at 1.30 p.m., and arrived as above. Experienced strong S.W. winds from Onehunga to Wellington, thence fresh N.E. wind with high confused sea. She will go into the Graving Dock for the purpose of being cleaned and her bottom coated with anti-foming composition. We thank her purser (Mr Wilcox) for report and exchanges.
