Maori, from Lyttelton, via Timaru, is due at Pert Chalmers to-morrow morning. The ship Peter Denny, which cleared out for Guam, was towed to sea bj the tug Geelong this morning. The ship Dunedin, having nearly comnleted her loading, commenced to bend sails, and will sail for London shortly. The schooner Pioneer, with a full cargo of coal from Shag Point, arrived this morning. She left at 4 p.m. yesterday, and had light N.E. winds. The p.s. Samson sailed for her usual trip to Oamaru this morning. Besides other passengers ahe took a number of immigrants from the ship Parses. The barques Columbus, from London, and the Splendid, from New York, commenced to discharged their cargoes into lighters in the •bream. The p.s. Peninsula transhipped a number of the passengers from the ship Tweed this morning. and they were conveyed to Dunedin by the IL3O train. The s.B. Btuce was taken into Murray's floating dock at high water yesterday for the purpose of being cleaned and painted, and havtngber propeller shipped. The topsail schooner Crest of the Wave arrived yesterday afternoon from the Kakanut with ajfull cargo of preserved meats for transhipment. She reports the schooner Friendship lying in AU-day Bay.
