The barque Lillie will sail for Newcastle this evening. The schooner Oreti is loading sleepers from the barque Colusa. The ship Sussex will sail for San Francisco at the end of this week. The barque Cesarewitch will be removed to the railway pier this evening. The ketch Glimpse is taking on board sleepers from the new jetty, for Moeraki. The schooner Cambria was taken on Isbister’s slip this morning for repairs. The coasters Hope, from Oamaru, and the Defiance, from Moeraki, arrived yesterday. The ship Hindostan will be removed from the railway pier and anchored in the stream tomorrow. The ship Peter Denny was removed from the railway pier yesterday by the tug Geelong to the lower anchorage. The Harbor Co.’s».p.s. Samson sailed this morning for her usual trip to Camara shortly after the arrival of the 7.30 train. The s.s. Tararua took her departure with the outward Suez mail shortly after the arrival of the 5.15 train from Dunedin yesterday. . The ship Cartsburn is ready for sea, her des. tination being San Francisco. She will sail as soon as she gets her compliment of seamen. The barque Cornet, having taken on board 100 tons of coal from the hulks, was removed into the stream, and will shortly sail for the Bluff. The s.s. Lady of the Lake came down from Dunedin this morning, and steamed alongside the new jetty. She will sail this evening for Molyaeux. The tender of Messrs Murray and Co. having been accepted for the repairs of the p.s. Comeran" a number of shipwrights commenced yesterday afternoon to strip her. She will be caulked and refastened where necessary, and likewise receive new bilge pieces. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, September I.— Arrived, the Strathnaver, from London, eighty-six days out, with 391 immigrants, amongst whom are fiftytwo single girls. On the voyage were four births; also six deaths, all of infants. Mr Jackson, previously doctor to the E, P. Bou▼erie, is in charge. , Lyttelton, September I.— The Cathcart, seventy-nine days from Gravesend. She brings 479 souls. There were five deaths and four births on board. The St. Lawrence, 101 days from London, with 404 souls. There were eight deaths, all of infants. The Canterbury, from Glasgow, said to have 400 immigrants.
