The ship Dunedin, for London, is fast filling up, and will have quick despatch. The cutter Jane and schooner Pioneer arrived from Shag Point on Saturday. The brigantine Seagull arrived yesterday from Kaipara and passed the Port for Dunedin. The Harbor Company’s s.s. Maori sailed for Lyttelton and intermediate ports at seven this morning. The N.Z.S.S. Company’s Wellington took her departure for the Northern Ports yesterday afternoon. The Harbor Company’s p s. Samson arrived from Oamaru yesterday morning, with a cargo for transhipment to the ship Dunedin. The s.s. Beautiful Star is taking on board transhipments from the Cartsburn, and will sail for her usual trip to Lyttelton via Timaru on Monday. . The s.s. Alhambra left the railway pier yesterday afternoon and anchored off Deborah Bay. She took on board this morning the Cargo of stone from the ketch Glimpse, and sailed this afternoon for Melbourne via the Bluff. The s.s. Wanganui left the Bluff at 5 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived at Port Chalmers at 8.30 p.m. on Sunday. She had a strong N.N.E. gale with a heavy sea along the coast. She sighted the s.s. Lady of the Lake at 11 a.m., which had to run for shelter. The ship William Davie, loading at the. Bluff, will finish her Homeward cargo to-day. Messrs Houghton and Co.’s s.s. Wallabi arrived yesterday morning from Timaru, with a cargo of grain, part of which is for transhipment to the ship Dunedin. She left Timaru on Saturday evening; had fine weather until a few miles off the Heads, when she got the strong breeze from the N.E. She steamed alongside the ship to discharge. The N.Z.S.S. Co.’s Taranaki arrived from the Northern ports yesterday afternoon, and anchored off the railway pier until the departure of the s.s. Wellington. She left the Manakau at 9 a.m. on the 11th, called at Taranaki, Nelson, Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton, and left the latter port for Port Chalmers at ,6.30 p.m. on the 15th, arriving as above. We thank her purser, Mr Edminston, for report and files. She leaves again for the North on Saturday. The Auckland Steam Packet Co.’s s.s. Star of the South arrived from Levuka, via Auckland and Northern ports, yesterday afternoon. She left Levuka at 11.45 p.m. on the 29th, and arrived in Auckland at noon on the 6th, after a fine passage of seven days twelve hours; left again for the South at 6 p.m. on the Bth; called at Napier, Wellington, and Lyttelton, and left the latter port at 1 p.m. on the 14th ; Passed the s.s. Omeo off Long Look-out Point, having experienced strong N.B. winds all the way. After staying at the Port fer nearly three hours, she steamed up to Dunedin. SHIPPING TELEGRAM. Sydney, August 11.—The ship Rooparelle, from Auckland for Newcastle, was seen off the coast dismasted. A steamer has been sent from Newcastle in search of her.
