This township is most advantageously situated about four miles from Dunedin, at the Junction of the Green Island Braneh and the Southern Trunk Railways, the site of the Station about to be erected there being in the township. The land is exceedingly rich, lies well to the sun, and embraces a large number of the choicest villa sites within reasonable distance of the City, while for business purposes those allotments in the immediate vicinity of the railway station cannot be surpassed. The locality is a rapidly rising one and bound to increase in importance, being on the through line of traffic to the interior by road and rail.

There is abundance of very excellent building stone within the limits of the township, and a never-failing stream runs through it, Coal will be delivered in the railway station at pit prices.
