The s.B. Wallabi sailed for Timaru to-day. The s.s. Phoebe sailed for the North this afternoon. The p.s. Samson is due from Oamaru tonight. The s.s. Wanganui sailed this 'afternoon for the Bluff. The s.s. Lady of the Lake, from the Molyneux, arrived in port at 11 a.m, to day, and «teamed up to Dunedin. The New Zealand Steam Shipping Co.’s s.s. Wellington arrived in Port Chalmers this morning from the North. She left Manukau «n the sth, at 2.30 p.m.; made her usual calls at Taranaki, Nelson, Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton, and called at Timaru for a cargo of wheat, which she transhipped to the ship Dunedin. On her passage from Manukau to Lyttelton she experienced strong breezes from the S.W., and. thence to arrival bad light winds and calms.* We thank Mr Willcocks for files and report.
