The amount of revenue received at the Ous t.m-house oi. cleared for consumption was this day L 1,189 7s 4d. A. Mercer reports for the week ending ■July 24 :—Retail prices only: Fresh butter in ilb and lib prints, best quality, 2s per lb; second quality, Is 9d to Is lOd per lb: salt TBurter, ness isroil to is oa per IU, ovMun well, owing to the continued scarcity of fresh / butter, as the grocers are not able to supply their customers at present. Cheese, best quality, lOd to Is per lb. Side and rolled bacon, lOd to Is per lb; beef ham, 7d ; and boiled ham, 9d per lb. Colonial hams. Is to Is 2d per lb; English hams, Is 5d to Is 6d per lb, but very slow of sale. Eggs continue to be scarce, and are retailing at 2s 6d per dozen.

[By Telegraph.] London, June 2. —Mr H, Schwartz reports the wool market firm. Faulty fleece meets with a more regular compel ition. Prices are in favor of the sellers. There is an excellent demand. Greasy wool firm, without change. Foreign purchasers took two-thirds of the total on the 27th May. New Zealand realised 10M to Is 2d; greasy skins, 8d to Mr Jacobson reports: The New Zealand wool offered was mostly in heavier condition than last year’s. Clothing parcels did not show much improvement. Lambswool and coarse half-bred fleece improved towards the middle of the month, but are now duller. Flax is very dull.
