For Nelson—One steerage SAILED. July 24,—Lady of the Lake, s.s., 60 tons, Urquhart, for tke Taieri. Samson, p.s., 124 tons, Edie, for Oamaru. Glencoe, barque, 250 tons, Jasper, for Hobart Town. The Harbor Go.’s p.s. Samson sailed for Oamaru shortly after tbe arrival of the 7.30 train this morning. The ketch Annie arrived from Moeraki this morning, and passed up to Dunedin. The ketch Glimpse was removed alongside the railway pier to take on board a crane for Moetaki jetty. The schooner Tauranga came down from Dunedin, and sailed alongside the ship Caroline for transhipments for Oamaru. The barque Glencoe sailed last night for Hobart Town. , The 8.8, Otago sailed this afternoon for Melbourne, via Northern and West Coast Ports, A large ship was seen about twenty miles off the Heads last night, and signalled this morning as the Mairi Bbau, from Glasgow May 6. She signalled for a tug, but the Geelong, being engaged in Dunedin, did not proceed down this forenoon. By telegraph we leamthat the Waitangi, the third ship of the New Zealand Shipping Company, was launched on the Ist of June at the yard of Messrs John Blenner and Co., of Sunderland ; tonnage, 1,143 register. She is to sail for Canterbury in August.
