Yesterday evening, as Mr Paul, of the Kdinburgh Cat-tie Hotel, Caversham, was fixing his outside lamp, 15ft high, the ladder slipped, and he fed to the ground. On the arrival of Dr Sorley, who was sent for, it was found be had received by the accident a severe wound on the head, over the left temple, and a fracture of two of the left ribs.
