O Db Cabr. —After an absence from Christ* church extending over a period of four years. Dr Carr gave the first of his series of Sluices at the Canterbury Music Hall last evening- The hall was filled- to suffocation in every part, and the audience, judging from the frequency of their applause and laughter, seemed to appreciate the entertainment. Dr arr’s Seances.—The Phreno Mesmeric Stances of Dr Carr appear to be increasing in popularity, judging from the large and fashionable audience which last evening filled the Odd Fellows’ Hall, when the twelfth Sdance was given. The Phrenological delineations of character (some of which were from the heads ef well-known citizens), elicited the loud applause of the audience, who evidently appreciated their truthfulness.
