(By Telegraph ) Invercargill, June 17. Brennan has been brought up at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, before Mr M'Cullooh, and remanded for eight days. The girl having recovered consciousness, her deposition was taken at the hospital. She said she remembered Brennan saying “ I will kill you.” She did not know why he said so, as she had never done anything to ur?" ® r , ennan ’ was P r ®sent, exclaimed: bod bless you ; but not on this earth—l don’t wish it.”
