THE NEW CONTRACT FOR REMOVA OF RUBBISH PROM PRIVATE PRC PERTIES WITHIN THE CITY. NOTICE is hereby given that the contractor for this work will commence duty on Monday morning, Bth June, 1874. at Sam. The present arrangement is that the carts shall start from Princes street south, and from George street, at the White Horse Hotel, simultaneously, and proceed towards the centre of the City, The streets to be traversed by the contractor are as under : Princes street, from Anderson’s Bay road to Octagon; George street, from Octagon to Frederick street; Great King street, the whole length ; Bond street, do; Crawford street, do ; Hope street, do ; Walker street, from Hope street downwards ; Stafford street, do; High street, do; Maclaggan street, from Clark street downwards; Rattray street, from Canongate street downwards; Clark st, from Maclaggan street eastwards ; Manor street, Police street, Jetty st, Liverpool street, Water street; Dowling street, from Princes street eastwards; Moray place, all round ; Gaol street; Castle street, from St Andrew street southwards; Cumberland street, do; St. Andrew street, the whole length ; Filleul street, between St Andrew street and Moray place. The Contractor will remove from the front doors (or from a distance not exceeding 6ft back from the front door) of premises situate along the streets, any rubbish boxes which may be left for removal. The Shares issued by this Society are of two kinds, called respectively Shares of Class A and Class B. Shares in Class A are of Twenty-five Pounds each, the principal being paid up in one sum. On these Half-yearly Dividends are paid at the rate of six per cent, per annum, and an annual bonus out of the surplus profits, and from the future annual division of the Guarantee Fund. They may be Withdrawn at- any time on three months’ notice. The last an,nnal bonus was at the rate of per cent, per annum. Shares in Class B are of Twenty-five pounds each, and will be realised after seventy-five monthly payments of five shillings each have been made. The holders of them will also be entitled to a bpnua on realisation, equal to a proportionate share of the surplus profits of the Society during the period over which the monthly payments have run. Shares may be withdrawn at any time on the usual notice being given, and, on withdrawing, Shareholders will receive the amount of their subscriptions with profits added.
