CORPORATION NOTICES CITY OF DUNEDIN. THE CITIZENS' ROLL, YEAR 1874-1875. RATEPAYERS are reminded of the necessity for their making immediate payment of all City Rates for the current year. Failing payment on or before the 15th June instant, all ratepayers then in default will, as by law required, be excluded from the Citizens’ Roll. Persons who have recently acquired a qualification for admission to the Roll, or whose qualification may have been lately altered, owing to change of residence or otherwise, are respectfully requested’ to intimate the fact to me forthwith. THE NEW CONTRACT FOR REMOVAL OF RUBBISH FROM PRIVATE PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY NOTICE is hereby given that the contractor for this work will commence duty on Monday morning, Bth June, 1874. at 8 am. The present arrangement is that the carts shall start from Princes street south, and from George street, at the White Horse Hotel, simultaneously, and proceed towards the centre of the City. The streets to be traversed by the contractor are as under : Princes street, from Anderson’s Bay road to Octagon ; George street, from Octagon to Frederick street; Great King street, the whole length ; Bond street, do; Crawford street, do j Hope street, do; talker street, from Hope street downwards ; Stafford street, do; High street, do; Maclaggan street, from Clark street downwards j Rattray street, from Canongatp street downwards; Clark st, from Maclaggan street eastwards ; Manor street, Police street, Jetty st Liverpool street, Water street; Dowling street, from Princes street eastwards ; Moray place, all round ; Gaol street; Castle street, from St Andrew street southwards; Cumberland street, do; >t. Andrew street, the whole length ; Filleul street, between St Andrew street and Moray place. The Contractor will remove from the fropt doors (or from a distance not exceeding 6ft back from the front door) of premises situate along the streets, any rubbish boxes which may be left for removal.
