The Cjity of Adelaide is ! due in' Auckland on the 20th inst. from Kandavu, with the English mails ex Mikado, which proceeds to Sydney to dock in consequence of grounding at Honolulu. The City goes South, and returns on the sth July, -proceeding to Sydney on the Bth, The Macgregor arrives from Sydney on the 4th proximo, and leaves on the sfch for Kandavu with the mails and passengers ex City of Adelaide, and returns with the mails ex Cyphrenes about the 18th proximo; goes South, and then sails through to San Francisco. The ‘ Government Gazette ’ announces that the Governor has confirmed the sentence of the Oamaru Court of Inquiry regarding the wreck of the Emulous iu suspending for sjx months tpe etrtifi'cath'of Gapt.i Angus-Mathesom’ New Plymouth, June 12. Captain King’s funeral took place yesterday. He was buried in a vault at St, Mary’s Churchyard, alongside his son. who was murdered by the Natives. The District Court was adjourned, and the public offices closed during the afternoon as a mark of respect. MrW. M. Burton has been appointed Engjlsß'BrhigKitjon Agent.
