The amoun of revenue received at the Ous om-house on cleared for consumption was this day. 1.1,2015s Id. A. Mercer’s report for the week ending Jane 12:—Retail prices only : Fresh butter in ilb and lib prints, Is 8d per lb; second quality, Is 6d to Is 7d per lb; fresh butter, in lumps, Is 5d per lb ; powdered and salt butter, Is 6d per lb ; salt butter, in kegs, Is 3d per lb, but not much in demand. As the risk in butter and at these prices prevents any ►peculation, except to supply present orders, the supply of fresh butter has fallen off ver/ considerably the last two week, and to all appearance it will|soon be very scarca. Cheese, beat quality, lOd to Is per lb; second quality, unsaleable. Side and rolled bacon, lid to Is per lb. Colonial ham, Is Id to Is 2d per lb; English haras are at present plentiful in the market, and very slow of sale at Is 6d per lb. Eggs are a little more plentiful, but very slow of sale at the present price, 3s per dozen. Wellington, June 12.—Mr O’Shea reports ; —Flour (Oamaru), Ll3 to Ll3 3s 6d ; Canterbury, Ll2 to Ll2 10s. Wheat, 3s 9d. Chick «ats, 4s 5d to 4s 7d. Pollard, 7s 6d. Bran, Is 5d per bushel. Potatoes, 90s to 100s. Salt butter, Is Id to Is 2d. Cheese 7d to 7id. Maize, 78 to 7s 6d. Pearl barley, L 22 10s.
