Correspondence.

[We are net responsible for the opinions expressed by our correspondents.] ELOCUTION. To the Editor. Sir, —Will, you kindly inform me if there is an elocution class in connection with the Qtago University, as I am desirous of joining one. In the Universities and Colleges of the Old Country elocution is considered a very important branch of education ; and I think that in the Colonies, where oratorical ability is so much required by our lawyers, politicians and debaters, this useful accomplishment should be encouraged and fostered. —I am, &c., ' Stranger. [There is no elocution class in connection with our University. Mr Barrett’s is the oidy elocution class we know of in Dunedin. —Ed. ‘E. S.’]
