On the debtor side, general expenditure during the year, including road board subsidies, L 367,556; expenditure under North-Otago Loan Act, L 36.509; and expenditure on account of special works, L 12,172. The balance in favor of the ‘Province on March 31 last was L 103.665 19s lid.
