[By Telegraph.] Melbourne, May 23.—The principal feature in the markets has been the sale and resale of brandies. Very large parcels have changed hands: Kartell's dark, 9s Id to 9s 6d; Hennessey’s 1872, 10s 9d to 10s case, 31s. In oats nothing has been done. At auction parcels were withdrawn, because the bids were below holders’ views. Breadstuffs unchanged. Large sales of kerosene have been made at low prices. Sugars dull and unaltered. A parcel of prime New Zealand flax fetched LlB.
