With this view they have entertained the offer of a well-known and responsible firm to erect premises of the requisite description. Two of the inducements held out by the offer of this .firm are, that the building will be erected on greund, occupying such a position that exhaust steam will be always available, and that an unlimited supply of well water will always be pumped by steam power into the Baths. These advantages alone will be worth about, 1200 a year/to the : Company. Taking into consideration the. great boon the establishment of Turkish Baths will confer upon the community, and the attraction they will form to the City, the Directors have de-termined-that the institution shall be a permanent one I; and in accepting the offer that has been made to them they believe they are taking the necessary steps for the due fulfilment of this determination. f As more Shares will be required to be taken up to carry out this new arrangement, the Directors confidently solicit the co-operation of the public, firmly believing the Baths will prove as great a commercial success as they will a social benefit. As an adjunct to the Turkish Baths a Tepid-Swimming Bath, with dressing-rooms, and other conveniences, will be erected! which can be enjoyed in all seasons ; and as the charge will be fixed at a low rate, it is anticipated (that this branch of the institution will receive very liberal support from artisans and others. • Applications for Shares received by PAUL & MACPHERSON, .
