RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT PORT CHALMERS.
Wednesday, May 20. (Before Dr O’Oonoghue, J.P.) Obscene Language.—Christopher Addison, seaman, was charged with using indecent and obscene language on the old jetty. Prisoner pleaded guilty, but expressed repentance, He was fined L2 and costs, or fourteen days’ hard labor.
