Peninsula came off Isbister’s slip this morning. The p.s. Comerang sailed for Lyttelton and intermediate ports yesterday afternoon. The i arners Ladybird for the North, and Wallah the Bluff, sailed on Saturday night. The coasters Awarua for the Bluff, and Eliza UThee and Isabella for Gatlin’s River, sailed yesterday. The cutter Hope arrived yesterday morning from Oamaru, and sailed alongside the old jetty to discharge. The Harbor Company’s s.s. Beautiful Star left Oamaru at 7 p.m. oirSaturday, and arrived at 1 a.m. yesterday. . The s.s. Maori arrived from Lyttelton and i ntermediate ports at 8 a.m. yesterday, and steamed alongside the ship Helen Bums to discharge. The yacht Winona, with its owner, Mr Street, on board, arrived at the Bluff this morning, having made the passage from Port Chalmers in twenty-six hours. The s.s. Wanganui arrived from her southern trip at 10.15 a.m.- yesterday. After landing her mails and passengers, she steamed alongside tiie Margaret Galbraith. We thank her steward for report and files. The brigantine Swordfish, from Launceston, ?n ved . at noon ' to-day and anchored off Deborah Bay. She left Launceston on the 29th April; cleared the Heads on the Ist inst., and passed Swan Island on the sth; thence to tbrSolanders. which she made on the 11th, had westerly winds; .met light east winds through the Stmts until reaching the Heads this moming, whed she got a fine breeze and sailed up as above.
