Friday, May 1. (Before D, Solfe and Dr O’Donochue. J.P.8.) 6 _ Ship Desbrtioh.—Charles Foiaey and C. E. Johnston were charged with deserting from the ship _ Scimitar,' and* pleaded guilty. ~~Capt. Fox, in answer to the Bench, stated that he was not willing to take them on board again.—They were then each sentenced to lour weeks’ hard labor. • (Before Dr O’Donoghue, J.P.) Riotous Conduct on the Railway Pisa. —Cecilia Beck, alias Phillips, was charged, on the information of Sergeant Neil, with having behhved in a riotous manner on the railway pier, on the 20th April—Mr Mansford appeared for .the accused, who pleaded not guilty. After hearing evidence, Mr Mansford objected to the information, as the accused was not described in the information as the Act required. His Worship considered the objection fatal, and dismissed the case, but commended the Police for bringing it before the Court. ■
