Owing to telegraphic ad■noes from Mauritius of a partial destruction of the sugar crop by a severe hurricane, sugars bwe advanced in this market from 20a to 30a, and holders’ terms have been nearly responded to, and offers made to close up to the advance. Teas are in considerable favor. Several large Hues were disposed , of. Hennessey’s case brandy sold up to 29s 3d. Dried fruits have been m demand at slightly increased rates. Oats very firm; New Zealand milling 5s 9d, and very scarce in the market. A telegram from London, dated April 18, says New Zealand hemp is LI lower. London, April 18.—The arrivals of wool to date amount to 206,000 bales. The next Colonial wool sales are expected to show a decline. The com market is firm. The home deliveries are email; foreign arrivals inconsiderable. The finer qualities of Adelaide wheat fetch 67s to 69s per 4961b, Melbourne flour sold from 45s to 47s for 2901b. Money is easy; stock market Australian securities are firm. New Zealand hemp is lower.
