the worse, with rain or snow, bow comfortable to i-tep into the ships’ saloons for shelter instead of having to brave the tempest at »t. Leonards without any shelter whatever a cup of tea, coffee, cake, or other refreshments being out of the question. Besides, with a number of noble ships in our bay we may expect the ships’ boats and captains’ gigs to take a large share in the programme, t-an the committee expect the shipmasters to send their crews to St. Leonards ? 1 think not.
