The tug Geelong towed down from Dunedin this morning, the barque Kasaa and the s.s. Maori. After a short stay in port she towed out the Kassa, which proceeds to Newcastle. ~ The, ship Trevelyan commenced to unmoor ’ this moMng, and will be towed alongside the raiivray pier this evening, when the ship Scimi'tar- will be removed mom the pier into the stream. , The schooner Spec arrived yesterday afternoon with a cargo of timber, from Havelock, ■ having left there on the 2nd. Had N. and JN.W., winds during the passage. She passed to Dunedin. • The’ s.s. Beautiful Star for Lyttelton and intermediate ports, sailed last night, and the Claud Hamilton for Melbourne, via Northern and -West' Coast Ports, and Comerang for Timaru, sailed in the afternoon. > The damage done to the ketch Huon Belle while on the rocks at Waikouaiti being now repaired, she will be taken out of the floating dock this evening, when the Harbor Company’s 8.8. Maori will be taken in for a thorough overhaul. The 8.8. Wanganui arrived from her southern trip at 11.45 a.m. yesterday, and steamed alongside the ship Wild Deer, to discharge cargo. She left the Port on Wednesday evening, and arrived at the Bluff at 4 p.m. on the 2nd, having encountered strong S.W. winds and high seas to arrival at the Bluff. Discharged and took in cargo, and left for her return trip at 7.30 p.m. on the 4th, arriving as above. She leaves, again for the Bluff on Wednesday. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Lyttelton, April 6.—The Phcebe sailed for Dunedin at noon, and the Mongol, with the San Francisco mail, at 2 p.m.
