Wellington, March 25. Eighteen deaths occurred on board the Woodlark during the voyage, mostly of children, from infantile diseases. The adults are all well, but a few children are still suffering from fever. The ship’s detention is expected to be short. Auckland, March 25. A. Domwell, butcher, Queen street, has been sentenced to one month’s imprisonment with hard labor for assaulting and kicking one of his employes. The Bench would not allow a fine. > Christchurch, March 25. Ths Interprovincial Regatta entries are— Champion Outrigger Race : Christchurch, two crews; Kaiapoi, one ; Westland, one. Inrigged Race; Three pair-oars, four sculls—four entries. Tauranga, March 26. The Bay of Plenty Times’ special messenger has just telegraphed from Ngare station that the Governor returned to Obinemnti from Rotomohana last night. Ho was greatly delighted. Leaves' Ohinemuti for Tauranga tonight.
