William Watson was fined ss, with the option of forty-eight hours’ imprisonment, for being drunk while in charge of a horse last night; Wm. Sharp, ’ss;ortwenty-four-hours* imprisonment. - Unlawful Trespass.—Henry Gedge,.one of the betting fraternity; Vhbjdesoribgd hiiii-. self as “ a dealer,” and had only been two months in the Colony,-pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawfully trespassing at the Immigration Barracks on March 21, and refusing tr leave when ordered to do so by the matron. His Worship cautioned prisoner if he tried tricks ;like that complained of >-‘he would be .sharply handled, and fined him 2&s, with the option of three days’ imprisonment.. There was a further charge against the same prisoner. fotr, using insulting. and. threatening ianguagq ; to,the*matron.
