To the Editor. r Sl ?>“ As a PPears from your report of the ■Land Board meeting on Thursday last that I c aimed compensation for land for which I had already received the consideration agreed upon, 1 trust you will do me the favour to insert the following I never agreed with the Government to give up any land for deferred payments, without compensation. The 1,800 acres referred to, were sold to me at one pound per acre, without compensation for determination of lease or for fencing, in consideration of withdrawing from my appeal, and allowing the land to be sold as previously agreed upon, that is to say, by application, or auction.—l am, &c., rv .v , r ~, !'• W.
