{From our Special Exporter.) Napier, March 14. First Infantry Match (Judging Distance). At such distances, not exceeding 600 yards, as may be appointed by the officer in command. Seven shots in the whole to be fired, by each competitor, who will judge his own distance. Targets, 6x6 feet; centre, 4 feet square ; bull’s-eye, 2 feet square. First prize, L 10; second, L 8 ; third, L 6 ; fourth, L 5 ; fifth, L 3 : sixth, L2.

The five tjes fired off, the prizes falling in the following order; -Liddell won the second ; Renouf, the third ; Ro;ise, the fourth ; Grundy, the fifth; and Kebble White, the sixth. Gordon, 6f the Thames,' who was recond, for having his trigger-weight less than 61b, and Scott, fdr firing off bis rise in

the camp, were disqualified. The judging distance match concluded the first day’s tiring. It rained heavily during the afternoon. The Governor and suite visited the camp at four o’clock. March 16.
