The schooner Randolph capsized between the Heads on Saturday, and sank. Tho crew were saved, Auckland, March 10, The sulphur round Tikarere Rotorona caught tte. and is still hprning. Eight seamen qf the Queen qf the Age were Sentenced tq twelve weeks’ hard labor, for broaching cargo. Wellington, March 10. The Dolly Yarden’s crow and boat leave by the Ladybird to-morrow, for Canterbury; also Mr J. Brown, the sculler, with his crew. Pom Chalmers, March 10. The Serene, 549 tons, Segerman, has arrived from New York. She sailed on the 26th November; crossed the Equator on December f’n* 11 l° n £* W- 5 crossed the meridian of Greenwich on the 10th January,’in lat. 37 S.; made her easting in 45 S., sighted the Snares on the 6th Match; passed Cape Saunders last Sunday, and arrived off the Heads this morning. Spoke the China, from London to Canterbury, 65 days out, on the 19th January.
