HOTEL MANAGEMENT.
To the Editor. Sir.—l have been given to understand that licenses for hotel-keepers will be granted in the course of the ensuing week, and if such be the fact it is to be hoped that in the interests of those wh ,: se avocation compel them to resort to holds for accommodation, the police will make inquiries as to the raarinerin which some of these establishments have been hitherto conducted, as it is a well known fact that some licensee’s do not pay that regard to their business that they should, nor conduct their establishments in a way conducive to the comfort of those who may reside beneath their roof. Rumor, with her busy tongue, hath also said that other of these gentry go on the “spree” for three weeks and a month at a time, leaving everything to tho management of incompetent persons, who tolerate, to say the least, highly indecorous and unbecoming conduct. —I am, &c, _ • Eye Witness.
