It is scarcely probable that any very important questions will be dealt with during the brief remainder of the present Parliament. I will, therefore, merely say that the policy initiated by Mr Vogel’s Ministry with regard to public works and immigration will have my full concurrence and support. I shall have ample opportunity of addressing you and explaining my views on any questions on which you may desire information, and will in due course advertise times and places at which I hope to have the honor of meeting you.
