RAILWAY REFRESHMENT ROOMS.

To the Editor. Sik,—The letter on “ Railway Refreshment booms ” in your last night’s issue, deserves some consideration from the Government. I would suggest a clause should be pntin all leases of refreshment rooms on railways, that the lessee should provide a certain class of refreshments, such as tea, coffee, and sandwiches, so that, as “Notan 1.0.G.T ” ■ays, these rooms may not be entirely grog shanties, bnt have the use they are intended for—that of providing good and substantial refreshments for travellers in the various lines of railway.—lam, &c., An Old Traveller. Dunedin, February 18.
