Commercial.

The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was L 1,835 18s 3d. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson, and Co report that the Hon. T. M'Kellar, of Victoria, has sold i’apanui station, consisting of 11,216 acres of freehold, and 32,500 acres leasehold, with 23,600 sheep, &c., for £40,000 to Mr D. M‘Kellar, of Waikara plains. Messrs M‘Lanarcss, Hepburn, and Co,’s property sales were pretty largely attended to-day. The attraction was the sale of the lease and good-will of the London Hotel and store, having a frontage to Jetty street of 60ft, by a depth of 70ft, which was knocked down to Mr Oouzens for L 1,750. Tho only other properties disposed of were some freehold building allotments in George street, which fetched L 5 10s per foot.

We have been permitted to publish the following telegram from the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, dated London, February 4: -Wool: The next sales will commence on the 17th inst.; up to date 98,000 bales have arrived.
