The amount of revenue received at the Cua-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was L 229 7s Bd. Markets for produce have been steady during the week. The up-country demand is for im°mediate consumption, storekeepers not seeing any advantage in going immediately into stock! The teas by the Carl were offered for sale on Ihursday but no pubhc sales took place. Bulk brandy is becoming scarce, Hennessy’s is very farm at former rates. Case cannot be said to nnlt,t' k6red ‘ Candles are in good supply, but quotations are unchanged. In dairy produce, cask butter is scarce, and prices have risen considerably!; parcels are held for Is per lb. Cheese is purchaseable at to 7d.
