THE ATHEN Æ UM MEETING.
To the Editor, SJR, I should have thought the crowded state of the room on the occasion of the last meeting of 1 subscribers would have convinced the Athenaeum Committee of the uselessness of the lower hall for a large meeting. It appears there are some 800 members ; and it is not unlikely that two or three hundred will seek to at'eud to-morrow night’s meeting. Now, 150 cannot find even standing-room in the Athenamm hall, and with the knowledge of that fact the committee should obtain a suitable room. Could not the Masonic Hall be got?—l am, &c., Anti-cuush.
