The interests of the Goldfields will obtain due recognition, and ample exposition of their resources and requirements. Sporting matters will be adequately reported. To literature and science a fair proportion of space will be devoted. Correspondence.—The free expression of opinion will be encouraged. So that all will find in the Southern Mercury something of interest to themselves.
